Free Flu Shot Opportunity from FirstFleet!

We are offering every employee that works at FirstFleet the opportunity to get a Flu Shot free of charge. Associates do NOT Have to have FirstFleet’s Medical Insurance to participate. The Flu Shot Voucher can be used at CVS, Walgreens and Wal-Mart pharmacies. A Flu Shot voucher can be extended to Spouses and Dependent Children age 9 and older. You can get your voucher from your terminal manager today!

There has never been a more important year to consider a flu shot than this year. The CDC predicts that hospital systems will be overburdened this fall/winter with both COVID-19 as well as the Influenza virus. Every person that does not get the FLU is one less person in the Dr. office or hospital with a respiratory illness.

Please see your Terminal Manager for a Flu Shot voucher for the pharmacy of your choice. Your name or the name of your dependent will be listed on the voucher.

This applies to both the FirstFleet PPO and High Deductible Health Plans. If you haven’t used this program before, now is a great time to try it. PhysicianNow Telehealth offers both phone and video consultations with primary care providers, specialists and behavioral health providers. Flu Awareness

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) is currently warning that flu activity is not slowing down any time soon. In fact, just the opposite. The month of February is trending to produce the highest flu activity level of this season with activity expected to last well into May. This means, if you haven’t yet, you need to take active steps immediately to reduce your chances of getting the flu.

It’s not too late to get your flu shot! Vaccination is the first step to flu prevention. The CDC recommends ongoing flu vaccination as long as the flu viruses are circulating, even into February or later. And don’t forget, if you are on any of FirstFleet’s Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical Insurance plans your flu shot is FREE when you go to an In-Network provider.
